Trustee Tucker Congratulates Local Athletes

Turner Valley School News: PYSANKY

Grade 3 and 3/4 participated in a hands-on study of the Ukraine Easter traditions making Pysanky before Spring Break. Pysanky is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method. The designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax using a tool called a kiska.
