Community Volunteer Income Tax Program
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is a FREE service available from the beginning of March each year and serves residents of Okotoks, Turner Valley, Black Diamond and Foothills County.
Volunteers don’t prepare complex returns. You will not qualify if you have self-employment income; business or rental income and expenses; capital gains or losses; employment expenses; or have filed for bankruptcy. Residents must provide all employment T-4s, government tax slips and previous year’s notice of assessment.
