Westmount School is the recipient of a Youth Environmental Engagement Grant through the Alberta Emerald Foundation! The school will receive a total of $400 to put towards expansion of its Outdoor Learning Space. Congratulations to everyone involved in securing the grant!
About the Youth Environmental Engagement Grant
The Alberta Emerald Foundation offers grants of up to $400 to engage young Albertans (aged 25 and under) in existing or new environmental programs and experiences.
Program Goal: Increase young people’s environmental awareness and engagement by providing more experiential and action-oriented environmental learning opportunities. Grants are available for schools, classrooms, and community groups that are led or targeted to young people (aged 25 and under). Please note, only group projects will be considered.
