Wanted suspects charged in latest shooting incident

Surrey RCMP advises that charges have now been laid against two outstanding individuals allegedly responsible for a shooting incident that occurred on September 15, 2015 in the 7600 block of 124th Street near a local elementary school (see previous release http://surrey.bc.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/ViewPage.action?siteNodeId=2126&languageId=1&contentId=43311). This incident is believed to be related to the ongoing shooting conflicts that have occurred in Surrey this year.

Amarpreet SAMRA (21 years old, from Richmond) and Shakiel BASRA (21 years old, from Delta) have been charged with two counts each of: Attempt to commit murder and Intentionally discharge a firearm.

Both individuals are currently wanted on these charges and are believed to be associated to a light coloured Jeep with Saskatchewan license plate: 685 JUD.

SAMRA is described as a 21 year old, South Asian male, 6’0″, 141 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. BASRA is described as a 21 year old, South Asian male, 6’3″, 150 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. (Please see photos attached).

Police consider these men armed and dangerous. Please do not attempt to contact, approach, or apprehend these individuals on your own. Call 911 if they are spotted.
