The Foothills Lions Club are holding their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday August 18th, 2014 at the Turner Valley Golf Club. This is a Texas scramble (Best Ball) format. Tournament starts at 1:00pm with a shot gun start.
In June of 2013 the floods came and washed out 75% of the Lions-run Black Diamond Camp ground. Traditionally the monies generated from the campground went to deserving community groups and organizations. The Foothills Lions club are holding this years tournament to make up the short fall.
One of our most recent projects is the Family Spray park that is currently under construction in Turner Valley. It should have a completion date of late summer/early fall.
So dust off your clubs and come enjoy an exciting event and support the Foothills Lions club.
Entry fee is $150.00 which includes 18 holes of golf, use of a power cart, prizes and a delicious roast beef dinner. There is also many items to bid on during the silent auction.
