Cochrane, Alberta – The RCMP have recovered human remains, and with the assistance of the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office, positively identified the remains as being that of Nicholas Lush late (yesterday) afternoon.
On April 6th, while the RCMP conducted searches in the Longview area, RCMP Police Dog Services located human remains. Identification of the remains could not be made at the time and required dental and/or fingerprint comparison. The remains were removed and transported to the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and a post-mortem examination.
Today, using latent fingerprint comparative analysis, the Medical Examiner positively identified the remains as being that of Nicholas Lush.
