Turner Valley School Tigers’ Reading Den

We are excited to announce a new idea to promote reading and share books. The Tiger’s Reading Den is a free book exchange program. There will be a bookshelf outside the library for students to donate books to and/or borrow from. If you have gently used books in your home that your children have outgrown, please bring them to the school and we will put them in the reading den for others to take. If your child sees a book that interests them, they are welcome to take it. There is no sign out and no limit on how long a book can be kept. At the beginning, however, we will be asking that each child only take one book until we can see what our supply and demand looks like. Our goal is for all of our students to own a variety of books to facilitate their love of reading. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Mrs. Fredriksen. Thanks in advance for your help with this worthwhile program.
