On October 18th, 2016, the Turner Valley RCMP Detachment fielded over 35+ calls with regards to vehicles that had been entered overnight and the contents rummaged through. In several cases, valuables were stolen and in two cases the vehicle itself was stolen.
RCMP are reminding the general public to remove all valuables from your vehicles and lock your vehicles during the day and night time hours if unattended. Report any suspicious vehicles or persons to police at the time they are seen, and if a break in is encountered, contact police, do not touch or disrupt the area until police arrive.
