Level I Water Conservation – Outdoor Watering
As summer approaches, residents are reminded that Turner Valley is under a Level I water conservation strategy.
Level I water conservation includes voluntary observation of an outdoor water-use schedule.
Residents and businesses are encouraged, but not mandated, to use water for outdoor activities only on their specified water day, based on the last digit of the address.
- Addresses ending in an odd number are encouraged to use water outdoors on Thursdays and Sundays only.
- Addresses ending in an even number are encouraged to use water outdoors on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
Residents are further encouraged to only water between the hours of 6:00am-9:00am and 7:00pm and 11:00pm on their suggested watering days.
Freshly laid sod should also adhere to the above guidelines and be watered between 6:00am-9:00am and 7:00pm-11:00pm to prevent evaporation and encourage growth on the suggested watering days.
Please continue to conserve water by restricting outdoor water use as much as possible by avoiding watering lawns; washing vehicles, sidewalks, pads, exteriors of buildings; and filling hot tubs or Jacuzzis.
