Across Alberta, people are moving their RV’s close to home to aid in responding to the COVID crisis to:
- separate healthcare workers and first responders from their families;
- provide a haven for vulnerable populations;
- offer shelter in which to care for ill family members.
Turner Valley supports this proactive approach for the duration of the crisis.
To ensure emergency vehicles have unrestricted access to buildings and infrastructure, RV’s must only be parked on personal property and driveways and may not be parked on any roadway or alleyway.
Please be mindful that all relevant Turner Valley bylaws still apply.
If you are caring for a COVID-19 patient, please review Alberta Health‘s tips on How to Care for COVID-19 Patient at Home.
If you have moved an RV onto your property for use during the pandemic, please also review the Motor Home, Camper, and Recreational Vehicle Safety tips.
