Filming in High River on March 26 and 27
HIGH RIVER, AB: Television film crews will be returning to High River on Monday, March 26 to continue production of a popular drama.
Filming will take place on 4 Avenue S.W. as well as 602 3 Street S.W. on March 26. Filming will then move to an indoor set on 3 Avenue S.W. on March 27.
In order to accommodate filming and to ensure continuity of picture, there will be a road closure on March 26 on 4 Avenue S.W. from 1 Street S.W. to Macleod Trail S.W. from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There will also be parking restrictions on March 26 on 3 Street S.W. from Macleod Trail S.W. to 7 Avenue S.W. (west and east sides). There will be additional parking restrictions on 7 Avenue S.W. from 3 Street S.W. to 2 Street S.W. (north and south sides) from approximately 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crews will conduct intermittent traffic control on March 26 on 3 Street S.W. from Macleod Trail S.W. to 7 Avenue S.W. from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In order to minimize the disruption, the majority of the crew vehicles will be parked in lots located at 128/130 4 Avenue S.W. and 135 Macleod Trail S.W. throughout filming.
Changes to garbage pick-up on Good Friday
HIGH RIVER, AB: There will be no waste collection services on Friday, March 30 due to the Good Friday statutory holiday.
Residents who receive regular waste collection services on Friday (Sunshine Meadows and Hampton Hills areas) will temporarily have collection services moved to Monday, April 2. Regular services will resume the following week.
