The Tour of Alberta returns this September and highways along the racing route will be closed to allow elite, international cyclists battle it out during the six-day race across Alberta.
Sections of highway and other roadways will close temporarily to accommodate the passage of cyclists and their entourage between September 2 and 7. Motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes along the route and are encouraged to cheer on the world-class cyclists as they pass.
