‘Tin Star’ to Film Episode Three in High River July 20-23


HIGH RIVER, AB: Production crews from Kudos Film and Television will arrive in High River on July 20 to film episode three of the new ‘Tin Star’ series.

Crews will move their work trucks into town and park in the gravel lot between 128/130 4 Avenue S.W., and the lot south of High River United Church at 135 Macleod Trail S.W.

All filming will take place during the late evening /early morning hours at 111 3 Avenue S.W. (inside the former Vespucci’s building) and 103 3 Avenue S.W.

There will be a temporary road closure and parking restrictions on 3 Avenue from 1 Street S.W. to Macleod Trail S.W. starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 until 2:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22 and again at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 22 until 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 23.

These brief closures and changes to parking are only temporary and the cooperation of High River residents and downtown shoppers is appreciated.

‘Tin Star’ is produced by Kudos Film and Television and was created by acclaimed British director and screenwriter Rowan Joffe. The show is described as ‘an epic tale of deception, betrayal, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of remote and beautiful Canadian mountain town.’ The series will star Tim Roth; who is known for his roles in ‘The Hateful Eight,’ ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and Christina Hendricks; known for her roles in ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Drive.’
