High River, AB On December 8th, 2015 at 3:08 a.m., the High River RCMP responded to a theft in progress at Ward Tires located on 20th Street SE. Upon their arrival the Police observed a pickup truck leaving the scene with several tires visible in the box of the truck. The vehicle was stopped and 2 males were taken into custody. A number of tires were recovered with an estimated value of approximately $5200. 00.
Two 51 year old males, both of Calgary, Alberta, face charges of Theft over Five Thousand Dollars and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over Five Thousand Dollars. Both men are scheduled to make their first appearance Friday January 15th, 2016 in Okotoks Provincial Court.
