The Members of the Valley Neighbour’s Club would like to tell you a bit about ourselves, with the hopes that you will join us.
We have many activities during the week………floor curling, euchre, an exercise class, bridge, line dancing, whist and Bingo. We have an excellent library created by generous donations. We are not a seniors club exclusively. All ages are welcome. We also have a beautiful pool table.
We have three dinners a year: Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. Before these dinners we have a silent auction, one of our most popular fundraisers. We have a beautiful clubroom, which we rent out at reasonable rates for weddings, parties and reunions.
The bridge group is particularly active. We play regular bridge on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. This is a “drop in” and if you do not have a partner, please come. There is always someone wanting to play with you. On Saturday afternoons, we have duplicate bridge, and for this you must have a partner.
