Both Black Diamond and Turner Valley Councils voted to allow Backyard Hens in the community following a successful pilot project held in both communities.
The Animal Bylaws will be amended to reflect this:

Check in with your respective town offices for the rules and regulations and to get an application form before setting up your hen house. Black Diamond will add an amendment to their bylaw before the end of year so applications won’t be approved until after the amendment passes.
