The Calgary to Cochrane Trail through Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park

Trail lovers, hikers, walkers, bikers and nature enthusiasts will soon be able to follow the Trans Canada Trail from Northwest Calgary to Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park and Cochrane. The construction of the 2.2 kilometre Bearspaw Trail is vital to the completion of the connection between the two communities. To make this happen, we need to receive $100,000 in donations by Canada Day, July 1, 2015.

Take the First Step on the C To C Trail

The Calgary to Cochrane Trail (C TO C TRAIL) is the start of an expansive network of pathways to be constructed at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park by 2020. The $7.5M trail system will provide access to spectacular parkland and vistas in the Bow River Valley and will be part of the Trans Canada Trail. Visitors will enjoy more walking, hiking and biking trails, a railway crossing, and a pedestrian bridge that will connect Northwest Calgary to the Town of Cochrane. The path will reach the edge of Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park and be the key link to Calgary’s Haskayne Park construction due to begin in 2015. Monies raised beyond the immediate $100K goal will go to the C TO C Trail Fund in support of future trail phases.
