Taber, Alta – At approximately 8:00 A.M. Sunday morning, Taber RCMP responded to a fatal collision on Highway 36, 1.5 kms. north of Taber. A pick up truck was travelling North bound an collided with a south bound semi truck and trailer.
A 39 year old taber resident died in the crash. The semi truck driver has been airlifted to a Calgary hospital. Traffic is being rerouted around scene but is expected to reopen soon. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
