Suspect identified and arrested in Langdon serious assault – Update #1

Strathmore, Alberta – Following a serious assault at a Langdon business near Strathmore (yesterday) morning, an individual was arrested in this matter by Calgary Police Services this afternoon.

Patrick GEDDES, a 38-year-old man from Langdon, was charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Sexual Assault and Forcible Confinement and has yet to speak to bail.

Investigators are still looking for the vehicle sought this matter, a 2000 Chevrolet Tracker. It has since been determined that the vehicle is missing its rear bumper and does not have any licence plate.

The RCMP would like to acknowledge the Calgary Police Services for their assistance in this matter.

The Hamlet of Langdon is approximately 12 kilometres east of the City of Calgary.
