Soup Sisters: Still Ladling Out the Love

Soup Sisters: Still Ladling Out the Love

The week of April 13 Soup Sisters provided 5320 lbs of fresh soup nationwide to emergency shelters for women and children, youth in crisis, marginalized seniors, First Nations and Food Banks.

Our soup is needed now more than ever and we have found a way to maintain delivery of heat & serve soup each month through MISO.

We need your help.

Your support of the Soup Sisters MISO program will help us to deliver to our country’s most vulnerable in need of nourishment and a ‘Hug in a Bowl’.

Our recipes are currently being produced and flash frozen at a certified FOODSAFE commercial facility.
Over 5000 lbs of soup went on the road and was delivered to 40 agencies from East to West. Versa Cold, Canada’s largest supply chain company focused exclusively on the handling of temperature sensitive products, delivered for us nationwide at no cost.

The graph shows initial distribution of over 5000 lbs of fresh soup delivered nationwide for the launch of our MISO program.
