On Feb 5th 2016, Foothills SNAPS 8th Annual “Show the Love…heArt Gala” fundraiser is being held at 1906 Restaurant/Lounge, located at 134B Macleod Trail SW, High River. The primary focus of this event is to showcase art work created by participants, family members and artist friends who are connected to Foothills SNAPS. The art work is sold through a live auction hosted by auctioneer Jim Smith. Charlie Brown is our emcee for the evening and Drive West with Garth McCrady will be providing music all night long. There will be a silent auction throughout the evening, appetizers, raffles and door prizes. Tickets are $20/person and runs from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. Doors open at 6:00pm.
Foothills SNAPS mission is to create fully inclusive communities by enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs through family support, which includes but is not limited to providing education, information, Respite Connections Program, Sibshops Program, TAPP and H.I.R.E. Program.
Foothills Special Needs Association for Parents and Siblings (SNAPS) is a non-profit charitable organization that provides services to families who live with a family member with special needs or are connected to someone with special needs. Currently, Foothills SNAPS has over 720 families registered, who reside in the MD of Foothills and MD of Willow Creek. Foothills SNAPS does not charge a fee for services provided and relies on many fundraising events to help cover the cost of services.
