Six for Six from Fore!

The Turner Valley Charity Golf Classic held last summer in conjunction with the RCMP Turner Valley Detachment has made presentations totalling $6,000 to six schools in our area.

The $1,000 cheques were presented to:

Chief Jacob Bearspaw Memorial School towards the new iPads for graduating students to use

C. Ian McLaren School towards a Yamaha Digital Piano for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students

Longview School towards their Breakfast Program and can serve hot breakfasts on Wednesdays

Millarville Community School towards a Community Information Sign in conjunction with the Millarville Sports Association

Turner Valley School towards three Chrome Books and

Oilfields High School bursary for a student going to post secondary education and best exemplifies the core values of the RCMP.

The Turner Valley Charity Golf Classic organizers would like to thank everyone who supported the tournament which in turn made these donations possible.
