The Health Trust dropped 1,000 golf balls out of a Helicopter onto the Turner Valley Golf Course all for a good cause. Raffle tickets were sold for $20 per ball and the ball that came closest t the pin won $3000 cash. October 9th was the day the weather cooperated. This was their first attempt at this unique fundraiser and it was a real success! All the money raised went to support the Okotoks Heath & Wellness Center and the Oilfields General Hospital.
And the winners are….
1st place – #502 – Erin Lotter Moser winner of $3,000 cash
2nd place – #503 – Brent Albrecht, won $750 from Okotoks Sobeys
3rd place – #879 – Larry Spilak (our own MD of Foothills Reeve!), won $500 in gas certificates
Speaking of Golf Balls….The 11th Annual Golf 4 Wellness raised $41,000 for the Foothills Children’s Wellness Network.
