Sheep Creek Arts Council Celebrates Alberta Arts and Culture Days in Turner Valley

Sheep_Creek_Arts_CouncilAs a part of Alberta Arts and Culture Days (September 26th – 28th) the Sheep Creek Arts Council is inviting members to submit examples of their art for a sale to be held on Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 4pm in the Valley Neighbours Club. We expect this sale will have creations from all the different groups who meet and learn within our Arts Council. We hope that community citizens will take this as an invitation to drop in to see what our Council has to offer in a wide variety of arts activities.

Our talented artists, who create in different mediums, will be presenting their works for sale and showcasing the many areas in which we are active. There will be examples from many of the classes as well as items our members create on their own. We expect to have folk art (Decorative Painting); Quilting; Painting on Canvas; Scrapbook; Cardmaking/Airbrushing; Knitting and Photography items available for purchase on a CASH only basis. For further information, please call Charlotte at 403-933-7782.

Please accept this invitation to drop in to 133 Sunset Blvd West in Turner Valley (west of the four-way stop) in the Valley Neighbour’s Club and join us to celebrate Alberta Art and Culture Days on September 27th between 10am and 4pm. The Diamond Valley Parade of Garage Sales is being held then also.
