Rowan House Emergency Shelter is looking for a Director of Residential & Community Programs!
It’s a full-time, 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.
The Director will be responsible for the overall implementation of all shelter services, including residential in the women’s emergency shelter and preventative education and outreach in the community. The Rowan House philosophy is one of trauma informed practice and service-delivery, focusing on women and children fleeing abuse and violence.
Applicants must have:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology or equivalent education supplemented by 3 years related experience in crisis intervention and residential services, dealing with domestic violence issues
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge and experience in trauma-informed practice.
