Rowan House Celebrates 15 Years

Join us in celebrating 15 years serving the Foothills at our annual Hope & Healing Gala!

Our signature fundraiser will take place Saturday, April 25th at Lynnwood Ranch in Aldersyde and promises to be another great evening.

Dinner, dancing, raffles, live and silent auctions – all in support of women and children in the community.

The energizing Calgary Fiddlers will open the evening and the Tanya Ryan Band will get everyone on their feet as we dance the remainder of the night away once the formal program is over.

We’ll also have Calgary Stampeder and Okotoks native, Anthony Parker speaking on the Leading Change Project, where player-facilitated conversations with youth shine a light on gender inequity, learning about dynamics of abuse, media literacy and working through scenarios that young men and women encounter every day. There is a stark difference between violence in sports and domestic violence. The athletes under-stand this and work to teach young men and women, parents, coaches and sports fans that there is no acceptable scenario to justify domestic violence and violence against women.

Tickets are $200 each or $1,400 for a table of 8 and can be purchased online via credit card at www.rowanhouse.ca.

If you’d like to pay by cash or cheque or make a group table purchase where each guest receives a charitable tax receipt, mail your order to Box 5121, High River, AB T1V 1M3 or call our office at 403.652.3316 for more information.

Rowan House supports women throughout the foothills, southern Alberta and the City of Calgary.

We count on your support to be successful and hope to see you there!

This event is proudly sponsored by Crop Production Services, Grah-Ter, Stone-water Homes and Western Financial Group.

Special thanks to the Gateway Gazette, High River Times, Sun Country 99.7 and Okotoks Western Wheel for their media/advertising support.
