Red Deer RCMP look for owners of stolen property

Red Deer RCMP have recovered some interesting pieces of stolen property in the last month, and think the pieces are unique enough that they may find their ways back to their rightful owners.

If you’ve been the victim of theft and are missing any of the following items, please call Exhibits staff at Red Deer RCMP at 403-406-2574 from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm. You will be asked to provide proof of ownership in order to claim it, which may be a photo or a detailed description.

·         Signed, numbered, limited edition Patrick Roy print

·         Framed NHL anniversary set of 9 hockey cards featuring members of the Montreal Canadiens

·         Hockey player figurine and assorted hockey cards

·         Signed Red Deer Rebels hockey stick

·         Olympics coin set

·         Rectangular slip tank

·         Two large mismatched truck tires

RCMP seize significant amounts of stolen property each year, and make efforts to reunite people with their stolen property whenever possible. Citizens can increase their chances of being reunited with their property by recording serial numbers, marking their property with identifying information, saving proofs of purchase and/or taking photographs of unusual items that will prove their ownership.
