REALTORS® Give Back Through Governors’ Grants

CREB® Charitable Foundation accepting funding applications from local charities

Calgary – CREB® Charitable Foundation’s Governors’ Grants program awards funds to charities that support housing and shelter-related initiatives in the Calgary and area community.

“We’re excited to invite charities to apply for the Charitable Foundation’s Governors’ Grants,” says Jeffrey Mikolajow, CREB® Charitable Foundation president. “The Governors’ Grants program reflects our vision of helping to build self-sustaining communities and empowers REALTORS® to serve and give back to the community.”

On behalf of its membership of more than 5,000 REALTORS® and community members, the program will award $100,000 worth of grants for the third consecutive year. Charities are encouraged to apply before the Tuesday, March 31, deadline.

“The selection process is difficult because we receive so many great applications,” adds Mikolajow. “But, it’s an honour and rewarding experience to support the charities that mean the most to our members and the incredible work they do in our community.”

The Charitable Foundation’s board of governors determines the recipients of the Governors’ Grants and will present them at a celebration event in June.
