Highway 1, 7 KM east of Strathmore has re-opened to traffic in both directions.
Atco Electric remains on scene performing further repairs however the active gas leak has been contained. The gas line was ruptured as a result of a single vehicle collision where the vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was not injured, however charges of Dangerous Driving and Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample are pending.
