In the early morning hours of Wednesday May 20th, 2015 in the town of Black Diamond, a home was entered and a 21 year old male pointed a firearm at the homeowner demanding money.
Tanner Dallas RUSSELL, (21 yrs old) was arrested and charged with:
– Break & Enter, commit
– Assault with Intent to steal
– Disguise with intent to commit
– Use of a firearm to commit
– Point a firearm
– Carry a firearm in the commission of an offence
– Possess a restricted firearms in an unauthorized place
– unsafe storage of a firearm
RUSSELL has been remanded in custody, pending a court appearance May 22nd, 2015 in Calgary Provincial Court.
Police believe this was a targeted incident and no other members of the public were at risk.
