Turner Valley, Alberta – On July 6, 2015 at approximately 8:45 emergency services responded to a single vehicle roll over on 178 Avenue West of Coalmine Road. An East bound SUV left the roadway in an attempt to avoid an animal on the road.
The 26 year old male driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A female passenger and infant were transported via ground ambulance to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time. Foothills Victim Services is providing assistance to family members.
Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in this incident.
