Shortly after 6:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 Turner Valley RCMP were called to a single vehicle roll over on 240 street west, approximately 500 meters north of highway 22 in Priddis, Alberta. Upon arrival Fire and EMS from both the MD of Foothills and the City of Calgary were on scene. A male in his mid thirties who had been pined inside the vehicle was extracted and transport to hospital by ground ambulance. A female in her mid twenties was pronounced dead at the scene.
A traffic analyst has attended the scene and investigation into the exact cause of the accident continues at this time. Early signs indicate the vehicle was south bound when it lost control spinning into the ditch and rolling at least once. The extent of the males injuries is not known at this time and further releases will likely be made available as police learn more. Names are not being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation and pending any further next of Kin notifications.
