East bound Highway 1 has re-opened 7 KM East of Strathmore. West bound Highway 1 will remain closed for several hours, and traffic is being rerouted onto Highway 21 north. RCMP ask travellers to be patient as this will heavily effect Holiday Weekend travel on Highway 1.
Atco Gas and Emergency Crews remain on scene working on the situation. Further updates will be provided when the Highway is fully re-opened.
