Search Warrant at local Marihuana Grow Operation
On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at approximately 5:10 pm, Strathmore CRU, Strathmore GIS and Strathmore RCMP executed a Search Warrant at a local residential property in the Town of Strathmore. A three stage marihuana grow operation was discovered and police seized 110 marihuana plants. Inside the residence were multiple persons including four youth.
Marck Mei (27) of Strathmore has been charged with Production of Marihuana, Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds of Crime contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code.
Strathmore RCMP were assisted by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit “Green Team and the RCMP Police Dog Service.
