On Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 7:15 p.m., at the Go Auto Arena in Servus Place, the Oliers Alumni, including Ryan Smyth, Jason Strudwick, Fernando Pisani and many more former Oilers will facing off against a RCMP team to raise funds to support the Dave Wynn family and the Derek Bond family.
Fernando Pisani spearheaded this event by contacting Inspector Kevin Murray. Fernando challenged Inspector Murray to a hockey game that will be fast paced and exciting! Fernando wanted to play this game to honour Cst. Dave Wynn and A/Cst Derek Bond as they were both very special community members.
This event will feature outstanding hockey as well as a “Chuck the Puck” event for fans during the second period. Come out to cheer on your favourite RCMP player – or you can even cheer for the Oilers Alumni! Everyone is welcome and admission is free, so let’s fill those seats!
