RCMP – Olds, Didsbury, Sundre and Hanna


Armed robbery and theft

SOC2RCMP – Didsbury, Sundre, Olds and Hanna are looking for four suspects who are believed to have committed armed robberies in two communities and a theft from a third community.

Sometime over night a Blue Ford F450 flat deck truck was stolen from a compound in Airdrie, Alberta.
At approximately 5:30 am the passenger from the stolen vehicle attempted to rob a gas station in the community of Didsbury. The suspect produced a weapon to the gas station attendant, but left empty handed.

A short time later at 6:15 am, police believe the same male entered a second gas station in the community of Olds, Alberta. The suspect produced a weapon to the clerk and again left empty handed. The vehicle was last observed travelling north bound from the gas station.

SOC1The stolen vehicle was later found in a field in a rural area south east of Sundre. RCMP believe the suspects stole two other vehicles from that property.

Truck 2The two additional stolen vehicles are described as a 2006 silver GMC envoy and a 2007 White dodge 1 ton, equipped with a bale handler.

The Silver GMC envoy has since been recovered in the Rocky Mountain House area.
At 10:30 am two of the suspects entered a grocery store in Hanna Alberta. After spending some time in the store, one suspect left with a grocery cart full of goods and got in to the 2007 white dodge 1 ton truck. The vehicle was observed leaving the grocery store parking area in a northern direction.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, please do not approach either of the individuals. If you recognize the suspects in the photos, RCMP are asking for public assistance to identify the two suspects, if you recognize these individuals call the Didsbury RCMP at 403.335-3382, your local RCMP detachment or crimestoppers at 1800 222-8477.
