RCMP Okotoks – Suspects Flee Calgary

RCMP Okotoks assist in locating driver who fled traffic stop by Calgary Police Service.

Okotoks, Alberta – On Friday, March 6, 2015, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Okotoks RCMP Detachment was advised of a vehicle that fled a traffic stop with Calgary Police Service.

The vehicle was followed by the Calgary Police HAWCS Helicopter as the vehicle entered into RCMP jurisdiction. The suspects continued to drive in a manner dangerous to the public and travelling at high rates of speed upwards to 200 km/hr.

Okotoks Crime Reduction Unit and General Duty members, located the suspects and they were arrested without incident.

Charges have been laid against a female 31 year old, Reinbow HOREL, of Calgary, Alberta and a 34 year old male, Sean GENTRY of Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. Charges include: possession of stolen property over $5000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, etc.

Subjects are to appear in court in Calgary this morning, March 9, 2015, to speak to their release.
