On August 15, 2014, at approximately 1:45 AM, the Okotoks RCMP along with Okotoks Fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle collision at the “S” curves on Hwy 549 west of Okotoks.
It appeared that a black Jeep was westbound on Hwy 549 when it failed to negotiate the turn and hit a concrete barrier causing it to roll into the north ditch. The lone male occupant had to extracted from the vehicle and was transported to hospital due to his injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to a factor.
