RCMP Okotoks – Disturbance involving a knife


RCMP - CrestOn March 6, 2015 at approx 1000 am, Okotoks RCMP received a complaint regarding a male that had entered the Mill Store on Hwy 2A at 306 Avenue north of Okotoks. The male had asked the lone female employee for some water but they did not have any for purchase and the tap water was not drinkable so she could not provide any. When the store could not provide the water, the male reached into his pocket and pulled out what the clerk believed to be a knife. The male then turned to leave the store and made a threat towards the clerk on his way out of the store.

The male was located on Hwy 2A north of Okotoks and arrested without incident. He is scheduled to attend Okotoks Provincial Court on April 17th, 2015 on charges of Uttering threats.
