On June 21, 2015 Okotoks RCMP on patrol caught a Black Kawasaki motorcycle driving 156km/h in a 60 km/h area of roadway. The driver of the motorcycle was arrested on 32 St. E, Okotoks, for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. The driver was also issued a violation ticket for a Traffic Safety Act offence for exceeding the posted speed limit.
Okotoks RCMP encourage drivers to adhere to the posted speed limits in the Town and surrounding areas.
