Jasper, Alberta – On July 9, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m., Jasper RCMP officers were dispatched to a serious motor vehicle collision approximately 25 kilometres south on Highway 93 where four people perished. All involved parties were from out of country.
Following the notification of next of kin, the RCMP can today confirm that the woman, occupant of the motorhome who died in the collision, was from Germany. The family of three people, occupants of the car who died in this collision, were from China. All of the parties involved were vacationing in Canada.
No further updates will be provided in this matter and our investigation is ongoing.
