RCMP High River – Suspicious Persons


On July 8th, 2015 at 9:15 p.m. the High River RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious person at a residence in Blackie, AB. A lone male attended a home and claimed that he worked for a security service company. The male only had an identifying logo on his shirt and had no badge or other identification. It was confirmed with the company that this male was not and employee. The RCMP is urging the public to ensure that if someone attends their residence indicating they are representatives of any company that they should be displaying provide proper identification or that identification should be available if requested. It is recommended that the public not allow these persons access to their residences without proper documentation or confirmation.
