On June 13th 2016, The High River RCMP were made aware of fatal animal shooting that occurred between Saturday, June 11th 2016 and Sunday, June 12th. An area livestock owner discoverer three of his lambs had been shot in the neck by what is suspected to be a small caliber rifle. The suspect(s) is believed to have shot the animals from the side of the road off 690th Avenue, South of Cayley, Alberta.
