On November 5th, 2014 the High River RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in a backyard at a residence in the North East of High River. RCMP located a male at this address and recovered keys to a vehicle that had been reported stolen on the previous day. During the investigation a backpack was also taken in as evidence. The backpack contained various items including bank cards, identification cards, gift cards, phone cables, cell phones, GPS units, sunglasses and other items believed to be stolen. The RCMP have been able to contact several owners of these items, however, they have not been able to identify owners for all of the items recovered. If any member of the public has had a theft from their vehicle recently and has yet to report it, please contact the High River RCMP detachment.
