RCMP High River – Police Lose Foot Chase but Still Get Their Suspect

In the early morning hours of August 17, 2014 members of the High River Detachment were on routine patrol when they noticed a group of youths in the area of 5th Street. As the Police approached one of the youth fled the group. This male matched the description of youth presently at large on a number of conditions in relation to a previous condition for mischief.

Police gave chase but the youth stole a girl’s bicycle from the area and took off again. Police later recovered the bicycle, and further investigation has determined the identity of that youth and charges are pending. High River RCMP are looking for the owner of the bicycle taken, and are asking for anyone in that area that is missing a bicycle to come forward and identify their property.
