RCMP High River – Farm Animals Shot from Road


The High River RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying person(s) responsible for shooting and killing 2 sheep from a rural road near the town of High River.
On October 3, 2015 the High River RCMP responded to a complaint of sheep being shot and killed overnight in a rural area. The preliminary investigation revealed that the shots were fired from the road into a field where 2 sheep were located deceased. The shooting occurred on 56 Street East and 12th Avenue (River Road) in the MD of Foothills west of High River. The RCMP are still investigating and need the public’s assistance in identifying person(s) responsible for the shooting.
