On December 07th, 2015, at approximately 4:58 pm, the High River RCMP responded to the report of counterfeit American currency at the High River Boston Pizza.
A male and female entered the lounge, looked around and proceeded to move to the dining area. The pair ordered food and drinks. When they departed, the pair left a small amount of Canadian currency sitting on top of the counterfeit American currency. On December 06th, 2015, what is believed to be the female checked out of the Heritage Hotel in High River. Upon examination, the damage deposit left appears to be the same counterfeit American currency.
The High River RCMP is warning all business to be aware of these occurrences and be cognizant of any American currency they receive. High River RCMP are also looking to speak with a female with shorter straight black hair, driving a red or maroon SUV, possibly a 2002 Dodge Durango.
