Drumheller, Alberta – Stanley Robert Dick was arrested (Friday) afternoon by members of the Drumheller RCMP detachment. The 31 year-old male was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for violating his parole as well as additional charges stemming from offences allegedly committed in Blackfalds, Red Deer and Drumheller:
- Drive while Disqualified; Flight from Police; Dangerous driving (3 charges in total) – Red Deer
- Drive while Disqualified; Uttering Threats; Break & Enter (11 charges in total) – Drumheller
- Drive Disqualified; Dangerous Driving; Resist Arrest (4 charges in total ) – Blackfalds
Police received information that Dick was in a residence located in Drumheller. The area around the residence was secured, thereby ensuring the safety of the public as well as the members of the RCMP attending the scene. Contact with Dick was established by police. Dick surrendered to police and was taken into custody without incident.
