On March 10, 2016 at approximately 3:20 am, the Cochrane RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 1 near Range Road 33. An eastbound blue Ford Escape drifted off the road to the left, then over-corrected across both eastbound lanes of Hwy 1 before entering the south ditch and rolling over. At no point was Hwy 1 closed or was traffic flow compromised during the investigation. The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported by EMS to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
