RCMP Cochrane Rural – RCMP Continue to Investigate Drive by Shootings


On November 29, 2015 Cochrane RCMP attended to a residence on the Stoney First Nation to a report of a shot being fired through a residence on the morning of November 28, 2015.   On November 30, 2015 when the employees of the Stoney Education Authority came to work they found that a high caliber round had been fired through their offices as well.  Cochrane RCMP General Investigation Section continue to investigate and believe both incidents happened the same night by the same person(s).

Yesterday (December 1, 2015) Cochrane RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on the Stoney First Nation for the firearm believed to have been used in the commission of these offences.    No arrests have been made in relation to these two incidents as of yet and the investigation is ongoing.   The Cochrane RCMP is asking for anyone who may have witnessed these two incidents or have any information about the person responsible to contact either the Cochrane RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
